Dinner Theater FAQ

Is this a family show?

Although there is no foul language in this show, this is a murder trial–even though it is interlaced with humorous characters.  There will be gunfire outside of the building and a mock train robbery with gunfire that will be quite “loud”, but safe.

What is served at dinner?

We will be serving Baby Back Ribs and/or Grilled Chicken Breast, Baked Potato, Green Beans, Texas Toast, Hushpuppies, Fried Ice Cream and a beverage.  Tax and Gratuity are included in the ticket price.  Alcoholic beverages are extra.

Each person will receive the same meal. The menu is subject to change, but will always be a good meal.

What meal comes with the “child’s” ticket?

The “kid’s meal” is a “3 piece chicken tender meal with French fries and dessert”  Please notify your waitress that your child is receiving a “kid’s meal” if it is not obvious by their age.

What is the age for a “child’s ticket”?

The children’s price is for children “under 12 years of age”.  They are expected to eat a kid’s meal for this price.  If the child wants to eat the regular meal, we ask that you please purchase an adult ticket, since we base our food preparation on ticket sales.

How is the seating determined?

Seating in the building is on a first come basis.  Groups of 20 or more may request “block seating”–Preference will be given by how far in advance the tickets are purchased.  All seats have a view of the stage, but no guarantee will be given as to the location of your seats. Special consideration will be given to guests in wheelchairs–but this request should be made in advance.

What else is there to do at Deadwood on the night of the show?

Before the 7pm seating in the banquet hall, Deadwood offers train rides with “mock Hold-ups” on some trips.  Deadwood’s Ice Cream, Coffee, and Gift Shop will be open before and after the performance.
